Sachiki-san and I stopped at the dog park at Roadside Station Taro while driving around looking for ideas to apply to Sanriku Fuyu-iro Sagashi (the Sanriku Winter Color Search) Photo Campaign. Roadside Station Taro has a pet snack shop focusing on using locally produced ingredients and a dog park.
The dog park is a little far
from the roadside station building, but there is a parking space near the
entrance of the dog park, so you can go there by car.
Usage hours are from sunrise
to sunset and there is no charge. It is divided into areas for small dogs and
medium/large dogs.
There is equipment similar to that used for dog agility.
Sachiki-san just sniffs around (lol)
Unfortunately, the pet snack
shop was temporarily closed, so I couldn't buy the goat milk I was looking for.
It seemed like most of the weekdays in February were closed.
There was no one else using
the dog park, so it seemed like it was for private use.
